free hit counter CHRISTIANS SHOULD ALWAYS REPROVE SIN
CHRISTIANS SHOULD ALWAYS REPROVE SIN by benaiah juma (Edited 8th August 2017).
Sin is rebellion and disobedience to the word of God and his laws of righteousness. Sin is the antithesis of God. God hates sin to the core and he can never be tempted with evil. That is why every sinner is already in a torture chamber if she or he has not repented and made restitution for his or her sins. False teachers tend to tell people that God is vain love and neglect to tell people that our God is a consuming fire and He will not tolerate sin to go unpunished. Consuming fire means that God's nature is to consume sin.

If you die without the blood of the lamb covering your soul, then you are in big trouble with God. The word of God tells us that God is a terror to the wicked and it is our obligation to warn sinners of the terror that will befall them if they fail to repent. Knowing therefore the terror of the lord we persuade men to flee from evil. If the sinner fails to repent then the lord Jesus Christ will have no option but to feed the sinner with judgment.
2Co 5:11  Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

Heaven is only meant for people that know God. People that know God are known by how they live their lives and the relationship that they have with the lord Jesus Christ. You cannot go to the house of a stranger and live with him or her, people cannot accept you unless you know one another or you have some kind of friendship or relationship with them. God cannot punish anyone for good works but for evil works, God is a terror to evil works but not to good works. God is the one who said do not commit adultery, do not kill, do not steal and many other commandments, if you break one these commandments you offend the one who made them.
Rom 13:3  For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:

In order to be a true child of God you must always reprove sinners who are around or come around you. We should reprove sinners with love and care in order for them to recover themselves from the traps of the devil and the snares of death and hell. When you reprove sin, the burden of repentance falls on the sinner. If you reprove the sinner and he or she repents you have saved his or her soul from death and you have succeeded in hiding a multitude of transgressions, but if you fail to reprove the sinner from the error of his way, if he or she dies in his or her iniquity you will be accountable for the blood of that person. God is love and He will forgive every sinner who comes to him with a humble and contrite heart.
Psa 34:18  The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

God is merciful to every sinner who seeks forgiveness from Him. Sin is hazardous both to the sinner and to the people around him or her. The word of God tells us that when you fail to reprove a sinner and he or she dies in his or her iniquity; his blood will be on your head. When a person is headed in a direction that you know will lead to his death or destruction, you are supposed to warn him or her. If you fail to warn him or her it proves that you are disobedient to the word of God and you wanted the sinner do die in his or her sins, it shows no or low regards to the souls of other people.

A lot of Christians go to the pit daily for not preaching the word of God and failing to reprove sinners. Just tell the sinner the right thing, it does not matter whether they curse, reject it or accept it, your mission is to get the word out and let the Holy Spirit take care of the rest. When a sinner comes around you and you fail to reprove his or her transgressions, then you have been made a partaker of their sin;  the word of God tells us that we should not be partakers of other men
s sins, we should keep ourselves pure.
1Ti 5:22  Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure.

When sinners go to the pit daily, they tend to complain to God that people did not tell them that what they were doing was offensive. When you tell them the truth you remove the cloke of their sin and they will be fit for judgement seat of Christ if they fail to repent. The lord Jesus Christ said in the bible if he did not go and preach to the world they would not have sin, but since He went and spoke to them and performed his miraculous works of healing, casting out demons, raising the dead and preaching the good news of salvation and they rejected Him, it was made clear that they hated Him and His father.
Joh 15:22  If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.
Joh 15:23  He that hateth me hateth my Father also.
Joh 15:24  If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.

Any person that is of darkness and not willing to repent cannot love you if you are of Christ. The word of God tells us that anyone that does evil hates the light and cannot come to the light lest his deeds should be reproved. Light and darkness have no relationship at all. If you are into a relationship with a sinner and it has existed for for a long time without the sinner changing from his or her ways of death, this proves that you are not a true believer, or you are not living according to the word of God. This means that you are not reproving his or her sins. When you have a friend who is an unbeliever, when you rebuke his or her sin, they will either change or if they fail to change, they will ask you to depart or they themselves will depart from you.
Joh 3:20  For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
Joh 3:21  But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Rebuking sin makes the disobedient ripe and ready for judgment if they fail to repent because they no longer have any excuse for their sins before the creator. When you rebuke sin and the sinner does not take yield to the warnings and continues to sin, this constitutes willful sin and this proves enmity to God. When you rebuke sin, the blood of the sinner is upon his or her head if they fail to repent, but if you fail to warn the wicked person from his ways and and he or she dies in his or her sins, then the lord Jesus Christ will require his blood on your head.
Eze 33:1  Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Eze 33:2  Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman:
Eze 33:3  If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;
Eze 33:4  Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.

Eze 33:5  He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.
Eze 33:6  But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.

Eze 33:7  So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.
Eze 33:8  When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
Eze 33:9  Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

Some of the hindrances that make children of God fail to reprove sin include the following;
Fear
Children of God are afraid of losing loved ones because people just get mad when you rebuke sin. People fear being rejected by those people whom they have rebuked their sin. A lot of people will reject you when you speak the truth of the word of God, that is why the bible told us to come out the world and be separate, because nothing good comes out from the world. The world should not love you, the world is of Satan.
If the world does not hate you, this proves that there is something wrong with your salvation.
1Jn 3:13  Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.

Get ready for people to get demonized like you have never seen before. When you walk righteously and start reproving sin, people will get demonized, get mad and depart from you or tell you to leave. When you rebuke sin, the demon that is in the sinner derailing him or her from Jesus Christ will get the person mad and make him or her to leave or ask you to leave. It is not an easy thing to do; it takes courage and having a strong zeal in our lord and savior Jesus Christ.

Calling sins abomination and reproving sin is what will cause true Christians to be murdered in the end days. It will reach a time, when you speak the truth about morality you will be accused of hate speech and hate speech will cause you to be cast into prison or killed. If you fail to reprove sin, you have just stopped obeying the word of God because it is a commandment given to us by God in the Holy Scriptures. All the pastors that are not rebuking their flock when they sin and are always talking about prosperity with no righteousness, their soul is in danger of eternal damnation as well as their followers.

If you are unequally yoked with a non believer for a long time without him or her repenting this means that he or she is probably leading you further away from God. When you fail to reprove sin, you are contributing to new age Christianity, where everything is acceptable. Homosexuality in new age spirituality is acceptable, but when you rebuke them and call them abominations and come separate, you deliver your soul from death. You cannot be with demons and Christ at the same time.  Do not ever stay with a sinner without reproving their sin; you will wind up in hell. Check out this scripture in proverbs about what the bible says about reproving sin.
Pro 24:11  If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain;
Pro 24:12  If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?

God knows your heart, and knows the degree of knowledge that you possess. If you tell God that you did not know that the sinner was perishing; God knows it all, you can
t lie to Him, he is all knowing. When you are a Christian and you see other people sinning and you tell them the truth and they fail to stop what they are doing you are supposed to depart from that place and do not participate in their abominations. It has come to my attention that people who call themselves christians can sit at a dinner table with a bunch of people drinking alcohol and just sit there without telling them that drinking alcohol is a sin.

When you see people drinking alcohol and you warn them and they do not stop drinking, you are supposed to depart from them, when you depart from them, you will have an impact on their lives, but if you stay mixed in with them, they will not feel weird and you are deluding down Christ which is sinful. Not only are we supposed to rebuke people when they drink alcohol but all sins such as drugs, indecency, smoking and all other sins that you are sure they are forbidden in the word of God.
Eph 5:11  And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

The bottom line is that Christians should always reprove sin for the well being of their soul and others. When you reprove sin you deliver your soul from death and possibly the sinner from death. Sin is the cause why people go to hell and the cause why Jesus Christ died for us on the cross. Sin is also the cause why human beings are separated from God. When you rebuke sin the devil will flee, and get ready for sinners to hate you, for the word of God instructs us not to marvel if the world hates us. You have to be hated, that is a must, the word of God tells us that anybody that will live Godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

If you fail to reprove sin, this may mean that you are afraid or you have no trace of holiness in you that is why sin is not offending you or you do not know the difference between righteousness and unrighteousness, or you are decieved by the devil. The devil has brainwashed the world and made their minds insensitive towards sins and abominations, the devil has made the world to develop a wrong attitude towards sin and made sin acceptable to people.

People who are deceived by the devil are usually not offended by anything that is unholy. Anyone that does not reprove sin is not of God. Reprove sin and remove the cloke that sinners are using to cover up for their sins. For you to be a child of God you have to reprove sin always. Brethren in Christ Jesus, get ready for people to mock you with statements such as, you are stupid and ignorant creature, you are foolish, you are a paranoid fool, don't judge me, you are the antichrist, you are a nuiscance, you are a hypocrite and any thing that comes out of the world. Be ready to handle this insults because people will hate you when you reprove their sin. Reprove sin always if you love the sinner and also care about your soul. Be blessed in Jesus Christ mighty name and take it easy.Thanks.
